Introducing Lee Tucker

Watch out country music fans, 33-year-old Lee Tucker is taking Nashville by storm!

The Hazlehurst, Georgia native made the move to the great music city back in June of 2016 and since then has written, wrapped up, mastered, and completed his very first EP titled Broke.

Picking up the guitar at age twelve and beginning to write at fifteen, Lee says he's always been into country music because that's just who he is! However, his musical influences range from Blink 182 to Sublime to George Jones and Jamey Johnson. Johnson being his favorite. "Not too many people can capture what he does in his albums and tell stories the way he does through his songs." Lee says.

Lee's father is his biggest influence over all because of his work ethic and unconditional love. He says it's amazing how he put up with spending thousands of dollars on drums and guitars over the years and having to hear every wrong note both musically and vocally until finally getting it right.

(And he clearly did!)

Every song Lee writes is based on personal experience and Broke is no exception. The EP stays true to what country music stands for. From the guitar (James Mitchell), the base (Gary Lunn), and drums (Steve Brewster) to, of course, the lyrics.

"I have to give a huge shout out to Chris Goff with Goff House Music for having the greatest studio musicians who have played for everyone from Willie Nelson to Blake Shelton on these tracks. He's one that won't stop until it's right and I couldn't have asked for a better producer to capture what I wanted to get across with these songs."

Hoping to achieve a publishing deal from the EP, Lee doesn't care too much about being a performer, that his passion for writing is enough. "I just want to write and people to be able to relate to my songs and I hope they help them get through things like so many other artists have helped me, but I also hope some of my more lighthearted songs can be the background to a good time!"

Expect to see a fun, humorous music video for "Someone You Could Love" coming soon! Stay updated through Lee's Facebook page.
